My name is Tania Walker (Founder) & this organization is named after my father, Willie Walker, who had only three girls. I wanted his name and love for others to live on through this work!
I am a Life Coach & Youth Mentor. In the world of service, community, and corporate, I am known as a compassionate, effective, & valued Leader. I don't take the role of Leadership lightly because as Leaders we work to help people see their best and be their best. I love working with others on their personal development journey. I have worked with teams, individuals, teens, young adults, & working adults along my personal & professional career. Nothing is more rewarding than watching people, especially youth & communities grow to new levels!
Professional Background
For 20 years, I worked in Corporate America in the Operations, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Distribution & Warehouse Management field as a high performing, process driven, and results-oriented Leader. I want to share my skills & experiences as a leader but more importantly a diverse & dynamic "She" Leader in a male dominated industry. I want to teach others, young & seasoned, how to find their voice, believe in their Leadership, & move with confidence.
Educational Background
While I have obtained a Master's in Business Administration Degree (Global Management) & a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Business Marketing), lived experience has also been a great teacher over the years. I'm also a Certified Professional Life Coach, Certified Speaker, & a Certified Anger Management Instructor with a host of progressive accomplishments & certifications that I am, honestly, proud of. Proud because it was this journey of living, learning, working, & executing where I found myself & the true Leader within!
I say all that to say, that I do this for those individuals & communities that are losing hope or/& need a little guidance. The more I learn how to be the best Leader I can be, the more I can pour into others the tools and skills that can help show them how to do the same. I thoroughly enjoy working with others on their personal development journey. I believe that self-awareness & personal growth are true keys to personal, professional, & emotional wealth!
My Passion & Purpose
Throughout my career I have remained deeply engaged in my community serving organizations that work with at-risk/underserved youth, sick & shut-in, homeless, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, political reform, and more. I also served briefly as President of the Hospitality Ministry at my Church (before relocating out of state) & still serving as Board of Directors for “You Can Vote”; a non-partisan voter registration non-profit located in NC.
Personal development work is my first love. I have partnered with various organizations to help educate, uplift & encourage action. I am completely committed to serving and enhancing the lives of members in these communities, especially. I am completely committed to helping Young & Seasoned people find “strength vs shame” in their story, so they can be the best version of themselves, they can be!
My passion for service is my calling and fulfilling it daily, is my purpose!
